The atmosphere in Dortmund was fenomenal, only a bit dampened by Leverkusen winning 3-2. We had seats in the middle of dortmundfans, so we too had hide our joy over Leverkusen's victory.”

One would think the incredible run stopped with that triumph, but Tottenham took it a step further less than a decade later by winning the inaugural UEFA Cup in 1972. By doing so, Spurs became the first British club to win two major European titles.
Despite the lack of trophies in recent years, Tottenham Hotspur remains one of the most successful clubs in English football. The club has won two league titles, seven FA Community Shields, two UEFA Cup titles, eight FA Cup trophies, four League Cups, and one European Cup Winners’ Cup title.
