The atmosphere in Dortmund was fenomenal, only a bit dampened by Leverkusen winning 3-2. We had seats in the middle of dortmundfans, so we too had hide our joy over Leverkusen's victory.”

After securing important wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers and drawing against Manchester City, the Magpies have fallen to smaller teams, such as a 3-1 loss to Fulham, a 1-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, and a 0-0 draw against Everton.
Despite the recent struggles, Newcastle United remains in a significantly better place than before the takeover. The club went through a significant change when the Saudi Arabian-backed consortium absorbed the Tyneside outfit in 2021, leaving Newcastle with enough money to spend on quality players such as Bruno Guimaraes, Anthony Gordon, Tino Livramento, Lewis Hall, and many more.
Like Newcastle United, Crystal Palace has also undergone significant changes in recent years, especially with Roy Hodgson's initial departure at the end of the 2020/21 season.
