The atmosphere in Dortmund was fenomenal, only a bit dampened by Leverkusen winning 3-2. We had seats in the middle of dortmundfans, so we too had hide our joy over Leverkusen's victory.”

The Merseyside club won the former and lost the latter before coming back to life under Jurgen Klopp, who was in charge of the team between 2015 and 2024.
